The Storyteller

The Storyteller Session is designed for those who want to document more than just a moment. They want to preserve an entire chapter of their story. With 90 minutes together, we have the freedom to slow down, explore, and capture the genuine moments.

I. Do you charge Travel Fees?

Sessions within Gainesville are included in your session price.

Locations outside of Gainesville will have an additional travel fee based on distance to help cover travel expenses.

If you have a location in mind, just let me know. I'm always happy to provide a travel quote before you book!

II. What should we wear?

I recommend soft, neutral tones and earth colors. Creams, tans, soft browns, muted greens, and light blues. These tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you and your connection.

Try to coordinate instead of matching exactly, and choose outfits you feel comfortable in. Flowy dresses, simple textures, and layers always work really well, especially for maternity and family sessions.

III. Where will our session take place?

We’ll choose a location together based on the look you’re going for! I offer a list of pre-selected locations that I know and love, which helps me get the best lighting and results for your photos.

If you have a specific spot in mind, feel free to share it, and we can see if it’s a good fit!

IV. When will I receive my photos?

After your session, you’ll get a sneak peek within 48 hours. Just a few quick photos to relive the moments right away.

Your full gallery will be delivered 2–3 weeks after your session, fully edited and ready to download, share, and print.

You’ll receive everything in an online gallery, making it easy to view, save, and share your favorite images.

V. Fun bonus, I offer a client closet!

I currently offer a client closet exclusively for women, featuring a collection of beautiful, photo-friendly dresses to help make planning your session a little easier.

If you're booking a family, couples, or maternity session, I'll also help style your children, husband, or partner using pieces they already have or guide you on what to purchase so everyone's outfits come together beautifully.

My goal is to create a cohesive, timeless look so you can feel confident, stress-free, and simply enjoy your session!

VI. What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

You're not alone! Almost every client tells me they're nervous or "awkward" before their session, and that's completely okay.

My job is to guide you every step of the way, so you'll never have to wonder what to do with your hands or how to pose.

I'll give you plenty of direction while also creating space for genuine laughter, movement, and connection.

Before you know it, you'll be relaxed, having fun, and wondering why you were ever nervous in the first place!
